I have felt for about 3 years now that the Lord would call me to missions. He had plans to take me to the nations. The questions wasn't if, but simply when, where, and how. Some opportunities presented themselves with my youth group at the time, but it never worked out because of one reason or another. I decided to just wait on the Lord to bring the right opportunity forward.

Then I moved to Gainesville, GA and was introduced to Adventures In Missions.

I began spending a good amount of quiet time in prayer simply about missions. "Maybe I could take a missions trip through AIM?"

He set AIM trips on my heart, so I began my research, all along asking him to reveal the right trip to me. I came upon the Real Life World Race Exposure Trips. There was one to Africa, and one to Thailand.

This was the choice He brought me to. I had to decide from these two trips.

My initial desire was for Africa, but I wanted my decision to be based on His call.

More prayer.

I told some of my closests friends and family of my choice. Almost everyone said they felt I should go to Thailand.

I began to see Thailand everywhere, in advertisements, in news, in books. It was like the Lord was trying to say something ;)

For obvious reasons I chose Thailand and began the application process.

I have such a passion for the women and girls in the sex trade. It is part of what make my heart beat. I want to work with these women, and bring their stories home with me and to the poeple in my life.

That is why I'm going to Thailand.

That is the call.

My call.

My heart.
